The Infamous Wedge

Main Street Surf Shop is within walking distance of the
sickest wave on the planet. Definitely not for the weak at
heart. This spot was a by product of an Army Corps.
Engineering  project in the 1930's in which 200,000 tons of
rock were dumped in the ocean to protect the Newport
Harbor entrance. As you can see we scored as well. Easiest
way to know when it's breaking by the hourly sounds of
sirens rescuing those that thought they could handle it. Are
